The Winding Sheet outfit
In 2012, Amber Bjork and Kristina Fjellman put together their first collaboration on Birds of Passage for the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Since then, they choreographed dances, participated in parodies, and--with the help of Megan Campbell Lagas, Brigid Kelley, and Kayla Dvorak Feld--created the Tiny Clandestines.
The Theatre of the Tiny Clandestines ran for two seasons--September of 2013 (thanks to an Irrigate Grant through Springboard for the Arts) and once a month over half a year in 2015 (thanks to a Saint Paul Arts Challenge Grant through the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation) . It returned at the beginning of 2018 as part of the Art Shanty Projects on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis.
In 2017, The Winding Sheet Outfit came back to the Minnesota Fringe Festival with The Memory Box of the Sisters Fox, which won the encore slot in its venue and a critic's pick award from Twin Cities Arts Reader. The show was remounted for a limited engagement run in November 2017. As big fans of the festival, they will bring Blood Nocturne to the Fringe in 2018.
